First, the characteristics of bit allocation and rate control are investigated. Second, a generic exponential distortion model is derived for joint video coding. Finally, based on the distortion model, the joint bit allocation problem is formulated as a constrained optimization problem and solved through the Lagrangian multiplier method. The system performance has been evaluated with several 3D video sequences. 摘要

基于深度图像渲染(deep -image-based Rendering, DIBR)的三维视频系统包括纹理视频和相应的深度图。纹理和深度视频的联合编码是三维视频数据的重要组成部分。本文提出了一种用于三维视频编码的位分配和速率控制方法。首先,研究了比特分配和速率控制的特点。其次,推导了联合视频编码的一般指数失真模型。最后,基于失真模型,将联合钻头分配问题表述为约束优化问题,并通过拉格朗日乘子法求解。用多个3D视频序列对系统性能进行了评价。实验结果表明,该方法具有良好的率失真性能。
