In this topology, one of the phases of the three-phase PMSM is connected to the midpoint of the dc-link. The mathematical model of the four-leg drive is derived. In addition, the discrete model of the three-phase PMSM and capacitor voltages are obtained. The model predictive control for these motors is developed to control the PMSMs' speeds and voltage of dc-link capacitors and therefore improve the performance of the four-leg inverter. Model Predictive Control of a Two-Motor Drive Using a Four-Leg Inverter
