Concretely, the 1-bit transmit signal design is formulated as an optimization problem with weighted radar and communication mean-square errors as the objective function. To solve this problem efficiently, the alternating minimization framework is employed. Specifically, the alternating direction method of multipliers algorithm and the coordinate descent method algorithm are presented in the optimization of transmit signal.
