DERGİPARK VERİ TABANINDA YER ALAN İKTİSADİ VE İDARİ BİLİMLER FAKÜLTESİ DERGİLERİNDEKİ BÖLGESEL KALKINMA MAKALELERİ ÜZERİNE BİR İNCELEME

The objective of this study is to analyze the studies, available in DergiPark database, over regional development which have been published on the journals of Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences by means of bibliometric analysis method. While there are many theoretical and empirical studies regarding regional development policies in literature, there seems to be no bibliometric ones. Bibliometric studies are used to reflect the transformation of a concept over time. These kinds of studies allow the researchers to compare diverse researches. Besides, bibliometric studies are also employed to form scientific research and publishing policies. Journals of 40 different universities, specified within this scope and found in the database, have been examined. 103 articles addressing regional development and published between 1977 and 2018 have been reached. In the study for the purpose of an assessment in field of regional development, such data as the number of authors, institutions of authors, titles of authors, journals in which the studies were published, key words, number of references, language of the publication and type of the study have been taken into account.
