These technically-oriented processes attempt to simplify the verification and validation of design artifacts used during software development. Yet, many EA projects fail mostly for non-technical reasons. The development of an EA can necessitate organizational change which can influence stakeholder behavior in ways that may be detrimental to the EA. An analysis of EAFs finds that they are deficient in incorporating human behavior and that they avoid any of the consequences of human action during EA development.
