This paper provides a roadmap of conventional reuse approaches to Software Intelligence approaches. Intense survey is conducted on various Artificial Intelligence algorithms applied to measure reusability of the extracted component. From the survey it is concluded that Components Based Development fits best for modern applications as it supports object-oriented paradigm.
