Cryogenic machining of porous tungsten for dispenser cathode applications
This paper presents the results of initial experiments to apply cryogenic methods to the machining of porous tungsten for dispenser cathode matrices. The resulting surfaces were analyzed to determine their suitability for dispenser cathodes.
