Performance of uplink synchronous multi-carrier CDMA in wireless communications
This paper studies the performance of the uplink synchronous multi-carrier code division multiple access. The synchronization in uplink transmission can be maintained by using signaling to control it. The performance is evaluated compared with the asynchronous system. Numerical results show that our synchronous transmission technique can offer better performance than conventional asynchronous transmission, especially for an exponentially decaying multipath intensity profile.
