In this paper, a two-step method was proposed to prepare a bionic compound eye lens, in which the mask photocuring was carried out after 3D printing. The image of the white light distributed on the surface of lens with the face centered hexagonal structure. And that the arrangement of these ommatidia is consistent with the mask. Furthermore, the imaging capabilities were also revealed by optical microscope and CCD camera.
