However, there are few studies discussing the multimedia design of VR in the educational context. This research developed a life English VR serious game played with VR HMD, named VR Life English (VRLE). Two playing modes were designed to explore the effects of multimedia design: one is played with voice and captions, and the other has voice only. In the current status of this study, the proposed VRLE has finished development and continues to examine the learning performance, immersion, and emotion of students.
