Bistable wave transmission through a metal screen with a slit filled nonlinear dielectric
We report on a bistable wave transmission through a narrow slit with Kerr nonlinear dielectric filling which is perforated on a perfectly conducting metal screen. The approximate analytical expressions for calculation of both the inner intensity inside the slit and the transmission coefficient are presented.
