At some point, the dust escapes into the atmosphere and pollutes the air and environment. A dry Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) was required in order to minimize the pollution. It was designed using Autodesk Inventor Professional software. A numerical simulation was conducted using the boundary conditions to determine the separator efficiencies, particle resident times and particle velocities at different cases. ANSYS 2022 R2 Fluent was used to perform simulation. The results of the simulations are in good agreement with those in the literature study, such as the number of elements and velocity of the particles.
