In order to overcome these issues, in this paper, we propose QoS based directionality routing in FSO MANETs. When the source wants to transmit the data packet to destination, directional routing technique is utilized for routes establishment. The routes are selected based on the QoS cost metric that includes the parameters such as delay and bandwidth. Thus, the routes with maximum bandwidth and minimum delay are chosen as best path for transmitting the data. The main advantage of this technique is that it minimizes the flooding caused during route discovery.
