The result of the experiment shows that the method presented in the paper is easy and feasible, faster in recognizable speed, performs well in segmentation, and is valuable in practical application. 摘要

字符分割是车牌识别系统的重要步骤,本文提出了一种新的字符分割和识别方法,利用改进的霍夫变换方法对车牌图像进行校正,然后采用归一化方法对车牌字符进行分割,最后采用改进的模板匹配方法对车牌字符进行识别。实验结果表明,本文提出的方法简单可行,识别速度快,分割效果好,具有实际应用价值。关键词:车牌识别;投影;模板匹配;字符分割
