A Cognitive Schema for Transferred Meanings of the Body-Disease Lexicon in Chinese

Based on the two-dimensional perspective of metaphorical shape iconity and metonymic function relevance, the paper gives a preliminary sketch of the transferred meanings of the body lexicon in Chinese.
