摘要

现阶段,高校图书馆网络大多采用有线网络。然而,随着高校工作人员对互联网的需求日益增加,有限的接入终端和电子阅览室已经远远不能满足读者的需求。在有线网络的基础上构建无线网络,可以满足读者上网和检索的需求。本文首先分析了图书馆无线网络的体系结构,然后通过比较,选择IEEE 802.11标准搭建无线网络;本文重点介绍了802.11b和802.11g两个标准。
