Moreover, when we talk about AAL where the complete personal information is digitized and stored, the need for implementation and maintenance of strict security measures is essential. In this article, we present a critical literature survey on communication security issues in e-health care environments. We highlight and explore the representative state of the art security prototypes for eHealthcare environments and also provide the details of their security characteristics.
