Lede, Ke Chang-li, Xiong Liran","doi":"10.1109/ICMTMA.2015.251","DOIUrl":null,"url":null,"abstract":"On the basis of the interpretation of the Landsat-5 TM imaging data of Chenggong New District for 2000, 2003, 2006 and 2009 and the landsat8 remote sensing image of the district in 2014 provided GIS Platform, the land use/cover diagram for the area was acquired and the area transformation probability matrix was calculated out. The thesis then adopted the matrix to perform analog analysis and forecast for the change trend of the land use dynamics of Chenggong County in the new 10a years. The results demonstrated that the land use/cover type in Chenggong experienced significant changes since 2000, including gradual enlargement of construction land and gradual decreasing in the area of dry land and water bodies. The research timely and accurately learnt about the change status of land use/cover in Chenggong New District and had certain significance to reasonable planning for the farmland and construction land in the district.
