This control strategy considers a dynamic power model of converter to forecast possible future converter behaviours. Thus, P-DPC provides an optimal switching pattern in order to directly control the active and reactive powers. Nevertheless, as will be shown in this work, this control method limits the converter operation range to a small power angle.
