摘要

在图像处理中,目标区域面积的计算是一个经常遇到的问题。在改进轮廓提取算法的基础上,提出了一种计算目标区域面积的方法。首先从二值图像中提取轮廓,同时记录轮廓点的位置和类型信息;然后,对轮廓点进行加权求和,计算目标区域的面积。实验结果表明,该方法简单易行。

An Effective Method for Calculating the Area of Enclosed Region
It is a frequently encountered problem to calculate the area of target region in image processing. Based on an improved algorithm of contour extracting, a method for calculating the area of target region was advanced. First, the contour is extracted from the binary image, while note the location and type information of the contour points.
