The foregoing was attempted through the creation of multiple Federal Government programs for that purpose. One of these programs establishes digital competencies and within these can be located the competence of Digital Citizenship. The present work shows a small outline of the competition of digital citizenship in new students of Educational Institutions of the State of Tabasco. Digital citizenship does not have a single focus, there are multiple edges that can be addressed. Finally, some proposals for various actions are exposed, through which the acquisition of this digital competence can be achieved.
