This preliminary study aims to suggest a viable approach to effective international development cooperation through official development assistance (ODA) to information and communications technology (ICT) for education, Bangladesh. Data collection primarily relies on secondary sources including documents and research reports. The data analysis reveals that there has been an increasing emphasis on the effectiveness and quality developmental cooperation. At the centre of the emphasis are partnership, alignment and harmonisation, creativity and innovation between donor and recipient countries for better and sustainable development, not a unilateral aid from donor countries. Implications are drawn for effective integrating ICT into education from the findings, visions and challenges. The study proposes a comprehensive, innovative and creative international educational development cooperation model for customised and sustainable educational development assistance.","PeriodicalId":163161,"journal":{"name":"Int.
