Robust feature detector and descriptor algorithms are particularly useful, forming the basis for many recognition and classification applications. These algorithms have been used in divergent bag-of-words and structural matching approaches. This work demonstrates a recognition application, based upon the SURF feature descriptor algorithm, which fuses bag-of-words and structural verification techniques.
