摘要

北斗导航系统(BDS)的短报文服务(SMS)能力是其相对于全球定位系统(GPS)的优势。纯文字短信阻碍了北斗系统的适用性。全球语音聊天已经在BDS SMS上设计和测试,它可以在一条78字节的消息中传输2秒的语音。现场测试已经在两个相距2500多公里的地点完成,一个在西安市,另一个在中国南海的一艘船上。结果表明,即使用户不会输入一个单词,也可以通过BDS短信进行语音聊天。节省了90%以上的交互时间,增强了身份验证安全性。全球语音聊天是当今户外应急通信系统的有效补充。
