The optimal implementation of the role of the family can support improving the nutritional status of children under five so that it can reduce the incidence of stunting. Indonesia establishes the First 1000 Days of Life movement program in an effort to accelerate nutrition improvement.Purpose : The literature review is to find out and analyze the description of family empowerment regarding the implementation of the First 1000 Days of Life in preventing stunting..Method : Literature review with journal search using keywords family support, first 1000 days of life, stunting in Google Scholar database, ResearchGate, Pubmed and Garuda Portal.Result : It was found that 7 journals said that mothers who received support from their families had more opportunities to check their pregnancy, provide exclusive breastfeeding and provide complementary foods.Conclusion : Family support means the encouragement given by the family to the mother both in meeting the nutritional needs of the baby and the mother in accepting the physical changes during pregnancy.
