The soil model was brought from a one construction project in Karbala, Iraq. Routine tests were carried out on the soft soil model alone, as well as for soft soil with specific percentage of granular materials. The model of cylindrical shape laboratory dimensions of 250 mm in diameter with a height of 300 mm. Eight different shear strength were used for laboratory model tests. Static loading tests were carried out on these model tests.
