The proposed antenna is composed of a rectangular loop and a monopole feed. The performance of the proposed antenna was studied by numerical simulations. A wide impedance bandwidth of 97.3% (1.788-5.176 GHz) with S11 <; -10 dB is achieved. The other performance is also reported, including the radiation pattern and gain.
