The authors summarize the main approaches to distance learning in Ukraine, provide the features of distance learning for students of technical specialties, and identify problems that arise during distance learning in technical specialties. The authors justify the methodological provisions regarding the study of the quality of education during distance learning, and also establish the influence of distance learning on the quality of education in technical specialties.
