Modeling of TMI Effect in High Power Multiwavelength Pumped Yb-Doped Fiber Amplifier
We demonstrate a model to simulate the TMI effect in multi-wavelength pumped YDFA. The maximum output power is increased about 20% by optimizing the power ratio between the 915 nm and 976 nm pump laser.
