The approach has been applied to an ocean environment that has a portion of the Gulf Stream running through an area of bathymetric variability together with a storm that produces an anisotropic (horizontally and vertically correlated) noise field. Linear and nonlinear MFP processing is considered for vertical and horizontal arrays.
