Culture-based economic learning becomes a forum for developing character in the era industrial revolution 4.0. The paper is a literature review using relevant sources related to theoretical and empirical reviews of the character of students in economic learning based on Minangkabau culture. Sources of theoretical reviews use books, other documents about the Minangkabau character and culture, whereas for empirical reviews use research results published in scientific journals.
