Nowadays, there have been a number of reports on the clinical performance of the adhesive bridges. The objective of this investigation was to photoelastically evaluate the forces exerted on the supporting structures of abutment teeth by modified resin-bonded cast fixed partial dentures. Four modified designs were tested and a traditional fixed bridge used as a control design.
