ЯЗЫКОВОЙ ТЕСТ КАК СРЕДСТВО ПЕДАГОГИЧЕСКИХ ИЗМЕРЕНИЙ ЗНАНИЙ, УМЕНИЙ И НАВЫКОВ СТУДЕНТОВ В ПРОЦЕССЕ ОБУЧЕНИЯ ИНОСТРАННОМУ ЯЗЫКУ НА НЕЯЗЫКОВЫХ ФАКУЛЬТЕТАХ

An idea is put toward in the article that the model of teaching English as a general educational subject should be based on the principle of connecting the content of language materials with the future specialty of students as the basic aim of teaching this subject is to acquire such skills which enable them to read and understand easy English texts connected with their specialty. In order to achieve such a goal there arises the problem of solving the following tasks: to define the content of teaching, to distribute the language materials step by step, to workout the main methods of teaching, to organize the individual activity of students at home including their individual reading the literature on their specialty. These components should meet the requirements of the strict professional direction of classes in the process of teaching a foreign language.
