Conditions for Dual-pumped Optical Parametric Oscillation in Silicon Nitride Ring Cavities
We obtain the regimes of the pump power, signal detuning, and signal frequency offset to achieve the optical parametric gain in silicon nitride ring cavities with both normal and anomalous dispersion. The conditions for the dual-pumped parametric oscillation including the thermo-optic effect are accordingly investigated.
