The present study aims to study the performance of the experimental and the theoretical side of the photovoltaic storage solar collector to utilize for water heating and electricity generating for domestic and industrial purposes. In the present work, a new storage solar collectors have been designed; it includes a tank with an inclined rectangular surface with angle 45° from the horizon, using a PV solar cell combined on an inclined surface of the tank, it works as thermal absorber surface. The water temperature rises to reach its highest value of 28 °C and then decreases. It was the highest efficiency in the early morning hours and reached 77% in the spring. Also noticed that the new design provide excellent performance for both seasons with total efficiency exceed about 40%. A theoretical calculations result is investigated. A computer program has been built to solve the equations of the theoretical part relating to the performance of this system.
