Wave Reflection/Transmission Analysis of Thick Multi-Layered Structures Using the Numerical Truncation Approximation for the Transfer Matrix Technique
In this paper, the authors describe a numerical truncation technique for handling the numerical instability problems associated with the utilization of the transfer matrix method. This, rather simplistic modification to the numerical coding extends the transfer matrix method to a wide range of applications.
