Extension Treatment: Preventing Recurrence of Venous Thromboembolism

VTE is one of the major causes of morbidity and mortality, and is still a bigger killer than breast cancer, prostate cancer, and road traffic accidents.1 While there has been little change in the number of cases since 2010, treatment options have improved.
