Abstract
A farmer's personal characteristics have an impact on many important issues on a farm and its management. This chapter contains four case studies exploring four example decision areas involving farm growth, farm ownership structures, farm succession and farmer anxiety. In each case a model is developed and used as a basis for analysing farmer data to show the impact of, particularly, a farmer's personality and objectives.
