Synchronous buck operations converter at CCM-DCM mode boundary and in DCM mode provides zero voltage switching condition for main switch. A digital closed loop controller continuously selects the optimal switching frequency for a particular value of load, which enhances the efficiency of synchronous buck converter. In this particular research paper, an algorithm for digital closed loop controller is explained and it is realized in a simulation environment.
