One is SENER incentives to work with the educational community by providing the FORAN software as a collaboration mean that centres on helping to develop the FORAN system, and the other way around the use of the FORAN system for academic purposes in universities, to improve and complement the teaching and training process for students. The second part of the paper focuses more on a technical details on the design procedure for the damage stability and the safety assessment criteria that is established accordingly.
