With the information gathered from the reviewed literature, a number of key aspects regarding VGS, such as the classification of plantations by their Air Pollution Tolerance Index(APTI) systems, the climate influence on VGS and the different regulating system employed for the VGS have been explored. This technique uses vertical space for the growth of green cover. It will be beneficial for the cities having a high population density, where open space is scarce. In general, besides lowering the overall temperature, VGS has a great potential in minimizing the average consumption of energy in buildings, especially during summers. 摘要

本文综述了垂直绿化系统在城市社会可持续发展环境中的应用。在此基础上,本文从大气污染耐受指数(APTI)系统分类、气候对大气污染耐受指数的影响以及大气污染耐受指数的不同调控机制等方面探讨了大气污染耐受指数的若干关键问题。这种技术利用垂直空间来生长绿色覆盖物。这对人口密度高、开放空间稀缺的城市是有益的。总的来说,除了降低整体温度外,VGS在最大限度地减少建筑物的平均能源消耗方面具有很大的潜力,特别是在夏季。在此基础上,综述了VGS在不同气候条件下的适宜物种、朝向对节能水平的影响、叶片厚度、不同层数的组成和壁面绿化密度等方面的研究进展。
