This parameter can be used as optimization tool of quality indicators for power supply systems. The main advantage of using FoM assessment technique for certain system's components is the elimination of simulation and physical experiments for effectivity evaluation. This paper consist of description of FoM assessment process for perspective converter structures, for various working conditions and the appropriateness of using this method is also verified by simulation experiments on models with high degree of validity.
