Students taking the DHUM degree have two specializations: a three-course set in a traditional area of the humanities such as history, philosophy, etc; and a five-course digital specialization in information architecture, technical communication, or science and technology studies. Students pursuing the COM degree specialize in professional and technical communication, journalism of science, or journalism of technology and business.
