Solid scintillator-based muon detector for Linear Collider experiments
A muon system for Linear Collider experiments has requirements and challenges very similat to that of large neutrino detectors. We present a concept of the muon system based on extruded solid scintillator strips as an active medium. This is a straightforward extension of the technology used in the MINOS long baseline neutrino oscillations experiment.
