Chiliphileurus Endrödi (a junior synonym of the Asian genus Eophileurus Arrow), Moraguesia Dechambre (transferred to Oxyligyrus Arrow in the tribe Pentodontini), and Platyphileurus Ohaus (transferred to the tribe Oryctini) are no longer part of the New World phileurine fauna.
