A New Species and a New Synonym in Senecio (Compositae) from Madagascar
We describe and illustrate the new species Senecio basipectinatus J. Calvo & Callm. (Compositae) endemic from the Befotaka-Midongy du Sud Protected Area in southeastern Madagascar. The new species is compared with the morphologically most similar taxon S. vaingaindrani Scott Elliot.
