Total of 58 closed distal tibial metaphyseal fractures (AO classification 43A) included in the study. All patients were operated using anatomical LCP with MIPO technique. The functional outcome was assessed by Tenny & Wiss criteria at 6 weekly intervals with final scoring at 24th week. Functional outcome was graded as excellent, good, fair and poor. Similarly, radiological outcome was also assessed at 6 week intervals using Hammer et al criteria and grade 3 labelled as union. Results: We observed excellent functional outcome in 48 patients (82.6%) and good outcome in 6(10.34%) at last follow-up. Radiological union was achieved in 100% (58) patients at 24th week. The average time of union was 16.5 weeks with a range of 12 to 23 weeks. Total 03 patients (5.17%) developed superficial wound infection which was successfully managed with antibiotic therapy and no surgical site deep infection reported. 摘要

目的:本研究的目的是评估微创经皮钢板内固定技术(MIPO)治疗胫骨远端干骺端骨折的放射学和功能效果。方法:这是一项在拉合尔服务医院骨科进行的前瞻性研究。本研究共纳入58例胫骨远端干骺端闭合性骨折(AO分类43A)。所有患者均采用MIPO技术进行解剖性LCP手术。功能结果由Tenny &每6周复查一次,第24周最终评分。功能结局分为极好、良好、一般和差。同样,每隔6周使用Hammer等人的标准和标记为愈合的3级标准评估放射学结果。结果:末次随访时,48例(82.6%)患者功能预后良好,6例(10.34%)患者预后良好。100%(58例)患者在24周时放射愈合。平均结合时间16.5周,范围12 ~ 23周。03例(5.17%)患者发生创面浅表感染,经抗生素治疗成功,无手术部位深部感染。结论:本研究结果表明,MIPPO技术治疗胫骨远端干骺端骨折是一种有效的方式,并发症发生率低,愈合率高,功能预后良好。
