Apart from the ultrasound investigation, other imaging methods are of great importance for more accurate diagnostics: computed tomography, magnetic resonance tomography, magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography and endoscopic ultrasonography. Gallbladder duplication is a rare abnormality of the biliary system. When a pathology develops in a doubled gallbladder, there can be difficulties in diagnosis and surgical treatment.
