Plant growth, gas exchange, leaf water potential, chlorophyll, carotenoids, and proline contents, and lipid peroxidation by MDA content were evaluated at the end of this period. More restrictive irrigation regimes reduced seedling growth. Water availability affected physiological, biochemical, and morphological parameters.
