Methods: The final sample size of this research comprised 356 respondents, and data was collected from domestic-level soccer players in China. This research used Smart PLS for measurement model assessment and structural model assessment and determine the validity and reliability of the collected data. Results: The research highlights a significant and direct and indirect relationship between music therapy and athletes’ sustainable health. Mental health literacy is also seen positively mediating the relationship between music therapy and athletes’ health sustainability. Furthermore, this research also demonstrates that the moderating role of positive coaching is significant and strengthens the relationship between music therapy and athletes’ sustainable health. Conclusion: The research concludes that the relationship between music therapy and athletes’ mental health improves with the mental health literacy of athletes.
